ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat penerima manfaat terhadap keberadaan Hutan Kota BNI Kota Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara memberikan daftar pertanyaan kepada para masyarakat yang berdomisili di sekitar Hutan Kota BNI. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Tibang Kecamatan Syiah Kuala Kota Banda Aceh Provinsi Aceh. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2013 sampai dengan Desember 2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey dengan penentuan sampel dilakukan berdasarkan Purposive Sampling. Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan model analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Persepsi masyarakat penerima manfaat Hutan Kota BNI Banda Aceh dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor yaitu faktor umur, harapan, pengalaman, tingkat pendidikan, serta pendapatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengamati persepsi masyarakat, pengaruh faktor-faktor tersebut di atas terhadap persepsi masyarakat, serta kaitan antara hubungan persepsi masyarakat terhadap keberhasilan program pembangunan Hutan Kota BNI. Untuk menguji hubungan antara variable faktor terhadap persepsi dan hubungan persepsi terhadap keberhasilan program, digunakan uji statistik dengan menggunakan Chi-Square (X2). Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa masyarakat penerima manfaat memiliki persepsi yang baik terhadapat program pembangunan Hutan Kota BNI, dan hanya faktor umur yang tidak memiliki hubungan signifikan terhadap persepsi masyarakat, sedangkan 4 (empat) faktor lainnya yaitu faktor harapan, faktor pengalaman, faktor tingkat pendidikan dan faktor pendapatan memiliki hubungan yang signifikan. Persepsi masyarakat memiliki hubungan kuat terhadap keberhasilan program pembangunan hutan kota BNI di Desa Tibang Kecamatan Syiah Kuala Kota Banda Aceh. ABSTRACT This research aims to determine the public perception of the beneficiaries of the existence of the Forest City BNI Banda Aceh. The research was done by providing a list of questions to the people who live around Forest City BNI. This research was conducted in the village of Shia Tibang Kuala subdistrict of Banda Aceh, Aceh province. This study was conducted in October 2013 to December 2013 This study used a survey method with sampling done by purposive sampling. The model used in this study is the use of qualitative and quantitative analysis model. Public perception beneficiary of Banda Aceh Forest City BNI is influenced by several factors: age, expectations, experience, education level, and income. This study aimed to observe the public perception, the influence of these factors on the perception of the community, as well as the link between the public perception of the success of the relationship development programs BNI Forest City. To examine the relationship between variables and relationship factors to the perception of perception of the success of the program, used statistical tests using Chi - Square ( X2). The results of this study it can be concluded that the beneficiary communities have a good perception of development programs terhadapat Forest City BNI, and only the age factor that does not have a significant relation to the perception of the public, while the four (4 ) other factors that expectation factor, the factor of experience, education level factors and factor income has a significant relationship. Public perception has a strong relationship to the success of development programs BNI urban forest in the village of Shia Tibang Kuala subdistrict of Banda Aceh.
