ABSTRAK Kemajuan teknologi informasi saat ini telah memberi manfaat yang besar dalam dunia pendidikan. Pembangunan website dan sistem informasi identifikasi Salacca berbasis komputer adalah sebagian pemanfaatan teknologi informasi. Melalui teknologi informasi, memungkinkan data-data Salacca dapat diolah dengan cepat dan mudah sehingga dalam penyajian dapat diperoleh secara tepat, cepat dan efisien. Tujuan dibuatnya sistem ini adalah untuk mempermudah proses penginputan, pencatatan dan pencarian jenis Salacca dengan berbasis website. sistem ini diharapkan dapat digunakan oleh pelajar dan mahasiswa pada Fakultas Mipa Jurusan Biologi mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan informasi para mahasiswa dalam bidang sistem informasi identifikasi Salacca berbasis web. Dalam pembuatan sistem informasi ini digunakan perangkat lunak yaitu PHP dan Mysql yang dipadukan dengan Framework Code Igniter(CI). Sistem ini terdiri dari beberapa fitur : Home, Identitifikasi Salacca,Search, About dan Cetak. Koten pada fitur indetifikasi Salacca terdiri dari 23 jenis, yang terbagi ke dalam dua seksi. Seksi Leiosalacca terdiri dari 2 jenis dan Seksi Salacca terdiri atas 21 jenis. Website development and computer-based Salacca identification information systems are part of the use of information technology. Through information technology, it allows Salacca data to be processed quickly and easily so that the presentation can be obtained precisely, quickly and efficiently. The purpose of this system is to simplify the process of inputting, recording and searching for Salacca species on a website basis. This system is expected to be used by students specially at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Department of Biology to increase the knowledge and information of students in the field of web-based Salacca identification information systems. In making this information system software, namely PHP and Mysql are used combined with the CodeIgniter (CI) Framework. This system consists of several features: Home, Identify Salacca, Search, About and Print. The content on the Salacca identification feature consists of 23 species, which are divided into two sections.
