ABSTRAK Penyakit Paru Obstruktif Kronik (PPOK) adalah penyakit paru kronik yang ditandai dengan hambatan aliran udara yang persisten, biasanya bersifat progresif dan berhubungan dengan respon inflamasi kronik terhadap partikel atau gas racun yang berbahaya. PPOK saat ini adalah penyebab kematian nomor empat di dunia dan 20 tahun mendatang PPOK akan menjadi penyebab kematian nomor tiga di dunia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara derajat obstruksi dengan status gizi dan frekuensi eksaserbasi dengan status gizi pada penderita PPOK di Poliklinik Paru RSUDZA Banda Aceh. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah analitik observasional dengan desain cross-sectional. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada 12 Februari sampai dengan 12 Maret 2014, responden berjumlah 30 penderita PPOK yang stabil dan sudah berobat selama 1 tahun di Poliklinik Paru RSUDZA Banda Aceh. Analisis yang digunakan adalah uji Spearman. Hasil uji menunjukkan bahwa hubungan derajat obstruksi dengan status gizi didapatkan nilai p = 0,001. Hubungan antara frekuensi eksaserbasi dengan status gizi didapatkan nilai p = 0,10. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan antar nilai faal paru dengan status gizi. Tidak terdapat hubungan antara frekuensi eksaserbasi akut dengan status gizi. Kata Kunci: PPOK, Derajat Obstruksi , Frekuensi Eksaserbasi, Status Gizi ABSTRACT Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a chronic lung disease characterized by persistent airflow barrier, usually progressive and associated with a chronic inflammatory response to particles or gases harmful toxins. COPD is currently the fourth leading cause of death in the world and the next 20 years, COPD will be the third leading cause of death in the world. This study aims to investigate the relationship between the value of pulmonary function and and the frequency of exacerbations with nutritional status in patients with COPD at Pulmonary Polyclinic RSUDZA Banda Aceh. This type of research is observational analytic with cross-sectional design. This study was conducted on 12 February until 12 March 2014 with 30 respondentsare stable COPD patients and had been treated for 1 year at Pulmonary Polyclinic RSUDZA Banda Aceh. The analysis used is the Spearman test. The test results showed that the value of the relationship with the nutritional status of pulmonary function obtained p value = 0.001. Relationship between exacerbation frequency and nutritional status obtained p value = 0.1. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between the value of pulmonary function and nutritional status.
