ABSTRAK Pemilihan Umum Legislatif yang terjadi pada tahun 2019 tepatnya di Wilayah Provinsi Aceh teridentifikasi terjadinya praktek politik identitas, akibatnya NasDem sebagai salah satu peserta Pemilu Legislatif periode 2019 wilayah Aceh mengalami penurunan suara. Hipotesis awal menyebutkan politik identitas yang terjadi di wilayah pemilihan Aceh, erat kaitannya dengan aksi 212 yang terjadi pada tanggal 21 Februari 2017 di DKI Jakarta. Kebijakan Surya Paloh yang mendukung calon Gubernur Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, yang merupakan tokoh yang ditentang pada gerakan 212 ikut berdampak kepada menurunnya suara Partai NasDem pada Pemilu Legislatif Periode 2019 di Aceh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis sebab akibat dan faktor politik identitas dapat diterapkan dalam pelaksanaan pemilihan umum legislatif tahun 2019 di wilayah Aceh dan mengetahui tolak ukur sejauh mana politik identitas dapat mempengaruhi perolehan suara partai NasDem dalam pelaksanaan pemilihan umum legislatif tahun 2019 di wilayah Aceh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara semi terstruktur terhadap enam informan. menentukan informan penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan kriteria penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan politik identitas yang terjadi diwilayah Aceh sudah terjadi sudah cukup lama hal ini dapat terjadi karena beberapa faktor seperti sejarah, kebudayaan syariat islam yang diterapkan di Aceh, serta adanya hoax yang tersebar di dalam masyarakat. Penyebab menurunnya suara partai NasDem di wilayah Aceh benar disebabkan oleh politik identitas hal ini berkaitan dengan kebijakan surya paloh mendukung Basuki Tjahaja Purnama yang dimana pada masa tersebut tersandung kasus penistaan agama, yang dimana sekaligus mengubah gambaran partai NasDem di hadapan masyarakat Aceh sebagai partai pendukung penista agama. Kesimpulan dari skripsi ini dapat dijelaskan bahwasanya politik identitas yang terjadi pada masa pemilihan umum legislatif tahun 2019 di Wilayah Aceh telah benar mempengaruhi hasil dari perolehan suara Partai NasDem secara signifikan yang mengakibatkan hanya memperoleh 2 kursi, hal ini berbanding terbalik dengan pemilu legislatif pada tahun 2014 yang mana pada saat itu partai Nasdem memperoleh 8 kursi di DPRA. As a result, NasDem as one of the participants in the 2019 Legislative Elections in the Aceh region experienced a decline in votes. The primary hypothesis mentions identity politics that occurred in the Aceh electoral district, closely related to the 212 actions that took place on 21 February 2017 in DKI Jakarta. Surya Paloh's policy of supporting Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama's candidate, who was a figure opposed to the 212 movement, also contributed to the decline in the NasDem Party's vote in the 2019 Legislative Election in Aceh. This study aims to determine and analyze the causes and effects of identity politics that can be applied in the implementation of the 2019 legislative elections in the Aceh region and to determine the extent to which identity politics can influence the vote of the NasDem party in the 2019 legislative elections in the Aceh region. This type of research is a qualitative study using a descriptive approach. Data collection was conducted by semi-structured interviews with six informants. Determine the informants of this study conducted based on research criteria. The results of this study indicate that identity politics that has occurred in the Aceh region has been going on for quite a long time. The reason for the decline in the NasDem party vote in the Aceh region is due to identity politics. This is related to the Surya Paloh policy in favor of Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, who during the period stumbled upon a case of blasphemy, which at the same time changed the image of the NasDem party before the Acehnese community as a party supporting religious blasphemers. The conclusion of this research can be explained that the identity politics that occurred during the 2019 legislative elections in the Aceh Region had influenced the results of the NasDem Party vote significantly resulting in only getting 2 seats, this is inversely proportional to the 2014 legislative elections at which time the Nasdem party won 8 seats in the DPRA.
