This study aims to determine the effect of mycorrhizal biofertilizer dosages and tomato varieties as well as the interaction between them on the growth and yield of tomato plants. The research was carried out in the Experimental Garden and Horticulture Laboratory of the Agrotenology Study Program at the Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University, taking place from June to November 2019. The research design used was a 4 x 3 factorial randomized block design with 3 replications. The factors studied were the dose of mycorrhizal fertilizer consisting of 4 levels, namely M0: without mycorrhiza (control), M1: 5 g / plant, M2: 10 g / plant, and M3: 15 g / plant and varieties consisting of 3 levels V1 : local varieties, V2: Karina varieties and V3: Rewako F1 varieties. The results showed that, the treatment of mycorrhizal doses of biological fertilizer is better found at a dose of 5 g / plant in its infancy, but the results of plants showed that the treatment of fertilizer doses the best mycorrhizal 10 g / plant, while the percentage of root infected with mycorrhizae showed the highest value at a dose of 15 g / plant. The best variety treatment was found in the use of local tomato varieties which gave the best value on the parameters of plant height, stem diameter and the best results, compared to varieties of Karina and Rewako F1, however, the parameters of the amount of interest and the potential yield of tons ha-1 indicate that the best value is found in the use of the Rewako F1 variety, compared to the local and Karina varieties. There is no combination of treatment between mycorrhizal biofertilizer dose and variety on the growth and yield of tomato plants. The best variety treatment was found in the use of local tomato varieties which gave the best value during the growth period, but the tomato yield showed that the best value was found in the use of the Rewako F1 variety.
