Abstrak/Catatan ABSTRACT Name : Hasmawar Student No : 1106102110049 Study Program : English Education Title : The Use of Learning Model of Picture and Picture in Increasing Students’ Ability in Writing Descriptive Text (A Classroom Action Research at Grade 2, Semester 1, SMPN 2 Tangan-Tangan, Abdya) This study aims at investigating the use of learning model of picture and picture in order to increase students’ writing skill ability. For this purpose, classroom action research undertaken to solve the problems faced by students at SMPN 2 Tangan-Tangan, Abdya regency in learning writing skill. Students at VIII 2 class became the sample of study that contained 14 male students and 17 female students. The data collected in this study by means of test and observation. From the result of study shows that students’ learning outcome on second cycle increased in which on first cycle the number of students who achieved learning accomplishment 21 students (67,74 %), while, on second cycle it became 27 students (87,10 %) who had achieved learning accomplishment. From this study can be concluded that the use of learning model of picture and picture can increase students’ ability in writing skill. Therefore, it is suggested for teachers of English to use this learning model in order to increase their students learning achievement particularly in teaching writing skill. | |
