Abstrak/Catatan ABSTRACT DUST CAPTURE SYSTEM OF BOILER COMBUSTION (ESP - ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPITATOR) AT PANGKALAN SUSU POWER PLANT OF STEAM UNIT 3 (1X200MW) NORTH SUMATERA By Rydho Dufasela 1604005010003 Air pollution is one of the pollution which is categorized as pollution which is very dangerous and has a considerable impact. This is because the pollutant particles from this pollution are so small that the are not realized by the public. Based on its physical form, the pollutants contained in the air are not only in the form of gas or steam, but also solid objects as particles, namely in the form of dust, smoke and odor. Based on this, we need a tool that is used to drain gas, namely Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP). The main principle of this system is to capture or bind the dust that comes out of the combustion by providing a high DC voltage on the negatively charged electrode wire so that the dust will be charged with a negative charge as a result of the dust coming out from the combustion result or bound to the plate. The plate which is positively charged and clean gas moves towards the chimney (Steak). In Final Project Report load ”Dust Capture System Of Boiler Combustion (ESP - Electrostatic Precipitator) At Pangkalan Susu Power Plat Of Steam Unit 3 (1X200MW) North Sumatera which aims to analyze the capture system precipitator and the system of rapping / ripper on the ESP tool.
