PENGENDALIAN KUALITAS MENGGUNAKAN METODE ACCEPTANCE SAMPLING DAN STATISTICAL PROCESS CONTROL (SPC) (STUDI KASUS : HARIAN RAKYAT ACEH) ABSTRAK Harian Rakyat Aceh (HRA) adalah koran harian yang terbit di Provinsi Aceh dengan format berita dan informasi serta merupakan sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang percetakan koran. Pada proses produksi masih ditemukan beberapa masalah pengoperasian sehingga banyak menghasilkan koran yang rusak. Untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan efisiensi produk, digunakan metode Acceptance Sampling dan Statistical Process Control (SPC). Penggunaan metode Acceptance Sampling adalah untuk menghitung nilai probabilitas lot sehingga dapat diketahui berapa banyak sampel yang akan diterima atau yang ditolak sedangkan penggunaan metode Statistical Process Control merupakan teknik penyelesaian masalah yang digunakan untuk memonitor, mengendalikan, menganalisis, mengelola, memperbaiki produk dan proses menggunakan metode-metode statistik. Diawali dengan membuat histogram, membuat peta kendali p, menentukan prioritas perbaikan menggunakan diagram pareto dan mencari faktor penyebab yang dominan dengan diagram sebab akibat serta membuat rekomendasi perbaikan kualitas. Hasil nilai probabilitas yang didapat dengan Acceptance Sampling adalah sebesar 0,7879 dan probalitas lot yang akan ditolak adalah 0,2120 dengan lot yang terdiri dari 80 eksemplar. Batas maksimal untuk koran yang rusak hanya diperbolehkan 2 eksemplar koran dengan rata-rata rusak sebesar 8% untuk kombinasi warna 4%, terpotong 2% dan tidak teregristrasi 2%. Sedangkan hasil yang didapat dari Statistical Process Control adalah jumlah koran rusak terdapat pada kombinasi warna sebesar 23.856 eksemplar serta faktor kerusakan yang terjadi banyak disebabkan oleh manusia dan mesin Kata Kunci : Acceptance Sampling, Pareto, Statistical Process Control (SPC) CONTROL USING ACCEPTANCE SAMPLING METHOD AND STATISTICAL PROCESS CONTROL (SPC) (A CASE STUDY AT HARIAN RAKYAT ACEH) ABSTRACT Harian Rakyat Aceh (HRA) is daily newspaper published in Aceh Province with the format of news and information. It is also a publishing company which runs business in publishing newspapers. In the publishing process, some obstacles are still found, so that there are still defected newspapers printed. To improve product quality and efficiency, the Acceptance Sampling and Statistical Process Control (SPC) are used. The use of Acceptance Sampling is for counting the lot probability scoe, so that the number of sample either the accepted or rejected can be obtained. While Statistical Process Control Method is used to solve problem and also monitor, control, analyze, manage, correct the defect products, and run the process of statistic methods. The study was started by creating histogram and P control map, defining the correction priority by using pareto diagram, and finding the dominant cause factors, and composing recommendations for quality improvement. The result of the probability test by using Acceptance Sampling is 0.7879 and rejected the lot probability score is 0.2120 with the lot consisting of 80 copies. The maximum limit for defect newspaper allowed is two copies with the percentage of defect is at 8%, the percentage of color ruin is at 4%, the percentage of cut-off newspaper is at 2%, and the percentage of not-integrated newspaper is at 2%. The result from Statistical Process Control shows that the number of defected newspapers for the factor of ruined color is 23,856 copies due to human errors and machine errors.
