ABSTRAK Evaluasi penggunaan antibiotik profilaksis pada pasien Sectio Caesarea (SC) telah dilakukan di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah dr. Zainoel Abidin (RSUDZA) Banda Aceh tahun 2017. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kesesuaian penggunaan antibiotik profilaksis pada pasien SC berdasarkan pedoman Perkumpulan Obstetri dan Ginekologi Indonesia (POGI) tahun 2013. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian observasional yang dirancang dengan studi deskriptif dengan cara melakukan evaluasi terhadap rekam medis pasien SC yang menerima antibiotik profilaksis selama bulan Januari sampai dengan bulan Desember tahun 2017. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 90 pasien yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa antibiotik profilaksis yang digunakan pada pasien SC tidak sesuai pedoman POGI, hasil penelitian menunjukkan seluruh pasien mendapat antibiotik seftriakson. Hampir seluruh pasien (99%) menerima antibiotik 30-60 menit sebelum operasi. Seluruh pasien menerima antibiotik selama lebih dari 24 jam setelah operasi (100%), dan seluruhnya (100%) menerima antibiotik melalui rute intravena. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu penggunaan antibiotik profilaksis pada pasien SC masih belum sesuai dengan pedoman, terutama dalam hal pemilihan jenis antibiotik profilaksis. Kata Kunci : Sectio Caesarea (SC) dan antibiotik profilaksis   ABSTRACT A research about evaluation of the use of prophylaxis antibiotic in patients with Sectio Caesarea (SC) at the Regional General Hospital dr. Zainoel Abidin (RSUDZA) Banda Aceh in 2017 has been conducted. The purpose of this research was to determine the appropriateness of prophylaxis antibiotic use in SC patients based on the guidelines of the Indonesian Obstetrics and Gynecology Association (POGI) in 2013. The research was an observational research designed with descriptive studies by evaluating medical records of SC patients received prophylactic antibiotics during January to December 2017. There was 90 patients identified in this study, sample taken using purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the use of prophylaxis antibiotic in SC patients based on POGI guidelines was not appopriate. The results showed that all patients received ceftriaxone antibiotics. Almost all patients (99%) received antibiotics 30-60 minutes before surgery. All patients (100%) received antibiotics for more than 24 hours after surgery and all patient (100%) were administered an dose intravenous antibiotics the intravenous route. The conclusion of this study was that prophylactic antibiotic use in SC patients was still not appropriate with the guidelines, especially in terms of the selection of prophylactic antibiotics.
