ABSTRAK ACEH TOURISM HOTEL DI BANDA ACEH Oleh YAYANG NISFULAWATI NIM : 1104104010046 Aceh merupakan salah satu wilayah paling ujung dari pulau Sumatera yang memiliki daya tarik tersendiri, mulai dari kuliner khas daerahnya hingga potensi destinasi wisatanya. Provinsi Aceh sangat kaya dengan potensi wisata terutama wisata pantainya yang menyuguhkan panorama yang sangat indah dan apik, tidak kalah dari daerah indonesia lainnya. Dengan adanya potensi wisata, para developer tentunya memiliki keharusan untuk mengembangkan potensi wisata ini dari segi bangunan komersil arsitekturnya sebagai penunjang pemanfaatan potensi wisata di berbagai daerah Aceh terutama Banda Aceh. Salah satu bangunan komersil yang sangat dibutuhkan untuk mendukung potensi pariwisata di Banda Aceh adalah dengan bertambahnya sektor perhotelan berbintang yang berbasis pariwisata. Hotel yang dimaksud tentu mengacu pada kaidah-kaidah budaya Aceh dari segi estetika bangunan luar maupun fungsinya. Salah satu cara untuk menerapkan budaya Aceh secara simbolik maupun filosofis pada bangunan komersil hotel berbintang adalah dengan melalui pendekatan Arsitetur Post Modern. Meski melalui pendekatan arsitektur post modern yang terkesan ‘rumit’ namun bangunan hotel ini dapat bernilai seni tinggi dan tentunya dapat menarik para wisatawan lokal maupun asing untuk menikmati fasilitas hotel ini yaitu dengan cara menonjolkan kesan yang modern nan klasik pada eksterior maupun interior bangunan. Aceh province is very rich with tourism potential, especially coastal tourism that presents a very beautiful panorama and slick, no less than other areas such as Bali Indonesia. With the potential of tourism, the developers must have the necessity to develop this tourism potential in terms of architectural commercial buildings as a supporter of the utilization of tourism potential in various regions of Aceh, especially Banda Aceh. One of the much needed commercial buildings to support the tourism potential in Banda Aceh is by increasing the tourism-based tourism sector. The hotel in question of course refers to the rules of Aceh culture in terms of aesthetics of outside buildings and their functions. One way to apply symbolic and philosophical culture of Aceh to commercial hotel buildings is through the Post Modern Architecture approach. Although the post-modern architecture approach that impressed 'stiff' but the building of this hotel can be high artistic value and certainly can attract the local and foreign tourists to enjoy the facilities of this hotel is by highlighting the modern impression of the classic nan on the exterior and interior of the building.
