Speaking is a productive skill that has been studied at vocational school in learning English. However, students recognize speaking skill is the most difficult skill. This research is aimed to find out to what extend video support students' in improving speaking skill. The place of this research was conducted at SMKN Banda Aceh and the sample was the students of Hotel Industry class XI-1. The method of this study was quantitative research with one group pre-test and post-test. The instrument of this research is speaking test. The students asked to perform a dialogue between housekeeper and customer; and housekeeper and customer. The aspects of speaking which tested were grammar and pronunciation. The result of this research was calculated using statistical formula. The mean score of grammar pre-test was (2.7) and the post-test was (3.8) which means students grammar improved; and the mean score of pronunciation pre-test was (2.1) and the post-test was (3.6) which means students pronunciation improved. T-test for pronunciation the researcher got the t-score was 5.55 and T-test for grammar was 4.78. As an illustration, the grammar aspect improved more followed by pronunciation. As a result, video can improve the students’ speaking skill at the XI-1 of SMKN 3 Banda Aceh. as a matter of fact, the use of video would be great media that can be used in teaching speaking to students.
