Abstrak/Catatan Abstract Name : Riska Nanda Student No. : 1206102020092 Study Program : English Education Tittle : Investigating Teaching and Learning Elements in Tour Guiding Subject (A Qualitative Study at Tourism Department of SMKN 1 Banda Aceh) Key words : Teaching and Learning Elements, Tour Guiding, Vocational School. This study is a qualitative study that investigate teaching and learning elements in Tour Guiding subject. The elements involved in the teaching and learning process are teaching materials, teaching method, teaching media, and assessment. The purpose of this study is toinvestigate whether the teaching and learning elements in Tour Guiding subject have fulfilled their goals. The subject of this study was one teacher of Tour Guiding subject. Interview guide and document analysis were utilized as the instruments. The theories of Reiser and Dick (1996), Slameto (2003), Widodo and Jasmadi (2008), Kusaeri dan Suprananto (2012) are used in formulating the interview items and document analysis guidelines. The result of this study showed that the teacher applied all elements to help students understand about the topics and reach their goals. This study also found that there is no contradiction between the data from interview and document analysis of teachers’ lesson implementation plan. | |
