ABSTRAK This study was aimed to measure the knowledge, attitude and practice of halal status of food processing using chicken meat in several reastaurants in Banda Aceh. The research was conducted using survey approach. The information were gathered using structured questionnaire. The respondents for this survey were the owner or worker of targeted restaurants. A number of 14 respondents were interviewed in this study. The data obtained were analysed descriptively. The results of this research showed that the knowledge and attitude of respondent on halal were categorised good. On the other hand, their practice were categorised very good.
