ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berjudul “Analisis Komunikasi Terapeutik Perawat dalam Pemulihan Pasien Gangguan Jiwa di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Aceh”. Komunikasi terapeutik merupakan komunikasi yang harus dimiliki dan dilakukan perawat Rumah Sakit Jiwa secara terencana yang bertujuan untuk membantu pemulihan pasien gangguan jiwa salah satunya pasien gangguan jiwa halusinasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan komunikasi terapeutik perawat dalam pemulihan pasien gangguan jiwa khususnya halusinasi di Rumah Sakit Jiwa Aceh dan hambatannya. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teori keperawatan psikodinamik yang dikemukakan oleh Hildegard E. Peplau. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara semi terstruktur, observasi nonpartisipan dan dokumentasi. Wawancara tersebut dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, yaitu menentukan informan berdasarkan sejumlah kriteria yang telah ditentukan yaitu terhadap 4 orang perawat Rumah Sakit Jiwa Aceh yang menerapkan komunikasi terapeutik pada pasien gangguan jiwa halusinasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, komunikasi terapeutik yang diterapkan oleh perawat Rumah Sakit Jiwa Aceh dalam pemulihan pasien gangguan jiwa halusinasi melalui empat tahap yaitu tahap pra interaksi, orientasi, kerja dan terminasi. Selama penerapan komunikasi terapeutik perawat menggunakan komunikasi verbal dan non verbal serta beberapa teknik untuk mencapai tujuannya. Perawat juga mengalami hambatan internal dan eksternal dalam menerapkan komunikasi terapeutik yang berasal dari diri pasien yaitu resistens atau menolak berinteraksi dan menyangkal, dari diri perawat yaitu mood, multi peran dan bahasa. Therapeutic communication is communication that should be owned and well performed by psychiatric hospital nurses to help the recovery of mental disorder patients like hallucination mental disorder patients. This research aims to understand the application of nurses’s therapeutic communication in the recovery of mental disorder patients, especially hallucination and its obstacles in Aceh psychiatric hospital. The theory used in this research is psychodynamic nursing theory developed by Hildegard E. Peplau. The method used in this reasearch is a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis. The data collection was performed using semi-structured interviews technique, nonparticipant observation and documentation. The interview were conducted by using purposive sampling technique, which is determining the informant based on a number of given criteria to 4 nurses in Aceh psychiatric hospital who apply therapeutic communication on hallucination mental disorder patients. According to the result of the research, the application of therapeutic communication by nurses of Aceh psychiatric hospital in recovery of hallucination mental disorder patients is done through four phases which are pre interaction, orientation, working and termination. During the application of therapeutic communication, nurses using verbal and non verbal communication and some techniques to achieve their objectives. In applying therapeutic communication, nurses are also experiencing internal and external obstacles, the cause of the patients are resistens or refuse to interact and denial, and the cause of the nurses are mood, multi-role and language.
