ABSTRAK Produktivitas merupakan faktor yang sangat menentukan tercapainya produksi pada suatu kegiatan penambangan. Dalam sebuah kegiatan penambangan produktivitas juga merupakan parameter penentuan tarif biaya alat seperti alat angkut dan alat spreading. Beberapa faktor seperti jam ketersediaan alat menentukan tingkat produktivitas suatu alat mekanis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji produktivitas dan tarif biaya alat sehingga ditemukan masalah-masalah yang mengakibatkan tidak tercapainya produksi dan biaya yang efektif dalam suatu kegiatan penambangan. Data yang digunakan adalah data cylce time dan data teknis penambangan batubara bulan Agustus dan September PT. Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk. Berdasarkan hasil kajian produktivitas di lapangan ditemukan bahwa target produksi tidak tercapai sehingga menyebabkan tarif biaya menjadi tidak efektif. Pada bulan Agustus target produksi overburden sebesar 600.000 BCM dan batubara sebesar 150.000 Ton. Namun realisasi yang diperoleh berdasarkan kajian di lapangan ditemukan bahwa produksi untuk bulan Agustus tidak tercapai. Hal yang sama juga terjadi pada bulan September, dimana produksi overburden hanya mencapai 810.309,52 BCM sedangkat target sebesar 820.000 BCM. Tidak tercapainya produksi bulan Agustus dan September disebabkan oleh jam standby alat yang tinggi. Upaya optimalisasi dilakukan dengan mengurangi jam standby alat berdasarkan penyebab-penyebab terjadi jam standby dan seharusnya dapat dihindari. Tarif biaya alat mekanis pada bulan Agustus sebesar Rp 22.420,40 /BCM dan untuk bulan September sebesar Rp 25.268,82 /BCM. Productivity also determine the cost rates of several equipments, such as hauling and spreading equipments. Some factors such as the availibility time of equipments specify the productivity rate.This research aims to assess the productivity as well as the cost rate, thus will find the cause of not achieved the target and the effectiveness of cost rate in a spesific mining job. The study based on cycle time data and other technical data of coal mining from August to September in PT. Bukit Asam (Persero), Tbk. The production target is not achieved, based on the study, and this led to the ineffectiveness of mining cost rates. The amount of 600.000 BCM overburden and 150.000 ton coals are targeted. However, the realization of which is obtained from the field it was found that the production for the month of August is not reached. It also happened in September, where the overburden production reach only 810.309,52 BCM while the target is 820.000 BCM. The too high standby hours is the cause of not achieved the production target. Reducing standby hours by minimizing the could-avoided-activities is one of the optimization technique that can be done.
