ABSTRAK Stroke iskemik merupakan salah satu penyakit dengan tingkat morbiditas tinggi yang mengakibatkan keterbatasan aktivitas harian. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kemampuan aktivitas harian (ADL) dasar pasien stroke iskemik akut adalah rasio neutrofil limfosit. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan rasio neutrofil limfosit dengan kemampuan ADL dasar pada pasien stroke iskemik akut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasional analitik dengan desain cross sectional. Penelitian dilakukan di Ruang Rawat Inap Saraf RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh sejak September hingga Desember 2016. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik concecutive sampling sebanyak 43 pasien. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan observasi hasil laboratorium terhadap kadar neutrofil dan limfosit, kemudian menilai kemampuan ADL dasar dengan wawancara dan observasi pasien menggunakan Indeks Barthel pada hari ke-7 setelah serangan stroke. Analisa univariat didapatkan jumlah terbanyak yaitu pada laki-laki, sebanyak 23 orang (53.5%) dan pada rentang umur 55-65 tahun, sebanyak 21 orang (48.8%). Rata-rata rasio neutrofil limfosit adalah 6.09 dengan standar deviasi 5.97 dan hasil Indeks Barthel didapatkan bahwa 25.6% ketergantungan total, 37.2% ketergantungan berat, 34.9% ketergantungan sedang, 2.3% ketergantungan ringan, dan 0% tidak ketergantungan. Analisis bivariat menggunakan uji Spearman dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95% (α= 0.05) dan hasil uji menunjukkan p= 0.000 dengan r= 0.577. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini terdapat korelasi yang bermakna antara rasio neutrofil limfosit dengan kemampuan ADL dasar pada pasien stroke iskemik akut. One of factors influencing basic activities of daily living (ADL) ability is neutrophil lymphocyte ratio. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between neutrophil lymphocyte ratio and basic ADL ability in patients with acute ischemic stroke. This study case used observational analytic method with cross sectional design. The study was conducted at the Neurology Care Unit of dr. Zainoel Abidin Hospital in Banda Aceh from September to Desember 2016. Sampling was done by consecutive sampling with 43 samples. This study was conducted by observed neutrophil and lymphocyte level on the laboratorium data, then assessed basic ADL ability by interviewed and observed patients using Barthel Index at 7 days of onset. Univariate analyses showed that the highest frequency of samples was male, 23 people (53.5%) and on range of age 55-65 years, 21 people (48.8%). The mean of neutrophil lymphocyte ratio is 6.09 with 5.97 standard deviation and the result of Barthel Index from 43 samples found that 25.6% were totally dependent, 37.2% were severely dependent, 34.9% were moderately dependent, 2.3% were slightly dependent, and 0% no dependent. Bivariate analysis used Spearman’s test with a confidence interval 95% (α= 0.05) and the result of test showed that p= 0.000 with r= 0.577. Conclusion of this study is there is correlation between neutrophil lymphocyte ratio and basic ADL ability in patient with acute ischemic stroke.
