ABSTRAK Gudang distributor Yakult Cabang Banda Aceh memiliki beberapa kelemahan dalam sistem pendistribusian produknya terutama dalam penanganan Safetystock. Pada penelitian ini penggunaan metode Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) bertujuan untuk mendapatkan frekuensi pengiriman optimal dalam pendistribusian produk Yakult cabang Banda Aceh. Perolehan dari hasil penelitian untuk permintaan produk Yakult Tahun 2015 melalui metode di atas dapat meminimumkan pengeluaran dana pada tahun lalu sebesar 9,05% dibandingkan dengan menggunakan metode yang digunakan oleh perusahaan. Besar jumlah semua biaya distribusi perusahaan adalah Rp.12.612.867,-. Perolehan perencanaan pengeluaran Tahun 2015 dan tahun 2016 melalui Metode DRP masing-masing sebesar Rp.11.471.087,- dan Rp.11.610.77,- yaitu 11 kali periode pengiriman. ABSTRACT The warehouse of Yakult distributor of Banda Aceh Branch has weaknesses in its product distribution systems, especially in the handling of safety stock. In this study, the application of Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) was applied to provide optimal delivery rate in the distribution of Yakult products from Banda Aceh branch. The results showed that after applying the DRP method the spending funds can be minimized into 9.05% lower than the spending funds used by the company last year. The sum of the whole distribution cost is Rp.12.612.867, -. The expenditure plan for the years of 2015 and 2016 through the DRP Method are Rp.11.471.087, - and Rp.11.610.77, - respectively, that will be used for 11 times of deliveries.
