Abstrak/Catatan ABSTRACT (Maryani) Teachers’ perception about the principal’s leadership and workingmotivation is one of the factors which influences the teachers’ commitment. This research aimed to find out the influence of teachers’ perception, working motivation, and teachers’ perception about the principal’s leadership and working motivation on the teachers’ commitment. To achieve that objective, this research used a correlational survey approach. Data collection technique was carried out through a documentation, a questionnaire technique, and an observation guidance. The sample selecting technique was a stratified random sampling on 51 respondents. Data analysis procedures were an univariate and bivariate analysis. Meanwhile, the research subjects were teachers and principal. The research results showed that: (1) Direcly, teachers’ perception about the principal’s leadership significantly influenced on the low or high level of teachers’ commitment for (0,7992 > 0,2759) = 63,88%; (2) Directly, working motivation significantly influenced on the low or high level of teachers’ commitment for (0,7249 > 2,759) = 52,55%;and (3) Both teachers’ perception about the principal’s leadership and working motivation influenced directly and significantly on the low or high level of teachers’ commitment for (0,8333 > 0,2759) = 69,4%. | |
