Abstrak/Catatan This study is focused on whether Flashcards improve students‟ vocabulary. The hypothesis of this study is The Implementation of Flashcards in Improving students'vocabulary (Ha). In order to achieved the objective, the writer used one group pretest posttest designed. The population of this study was the third grade students of SDN 44 Banda Aceh. The sample of this study was in class III-A. There was 20 students. There were five meetings during the experiment. Before the experiment was conducted, the students were given a pretest. The result data analysis revealed that the students' score of vocabulary after taught by using flashcards has been improved. The highest score for pretest was 6 and the lowest one is 0. In the posttest, the higher score was 9 and the lowest score was 2. It can be said that, score is significance difference of vocabulary achievement after they had been taught by using flashcards. In this case, the teaching vocabulary by using flashcards is effective. | |
