ABSTRAK Dermatitis kontak iritan adalah inflamasi pada kulit akibat kontak dengan zat yang bersifat iritan, seperti bahan-bahan kimia. Di Indonesia insiden dermatitis kontak iritan pada pekerja cukup tinggi. Dilaporkan bahwa terdapat 51 kasus (41,17%) dermatitis kontak iritan di Semarang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui distribusi pengetahuan penderita dermatitis kontak iritan di Poliklinik Kulit dan Kelamin RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh berdasarkan jenis kelamin, usia, pekerjaan dan pendidikan. Metode penelitian ini adalah survei yang bersifat deskriptif dengan studi cross sectional. Data yang diambil dengan pengisian kuesioner dengan wawancara pada pasien dermatitis kontak iritan, sampel penelitian ini adalah pasien dermatitis kontak iritan yang berobat ke Poliklinik Kulit dan Kelamin RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh yang berjumlah 32 pasien. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pasien dermatitis kontak iritan yang berobat di Poliklinik Kulit dan Kelamin Rumah Sakit Umum dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh memiliki pengetahuan baik sebesar 53,1% dan pengetahuan yang kurang sebesar 46,9%. Berdasarkan distribusi frekuensi pengetahuan pasien dermatitis kontak iritan menurut jenis kelamin, pengetahuan paling baik pada perempuan sebesar 55%, berdasarkan usia, pengetahuan yang baik pada kelompok usia 20-40 tahun sebesar 75% dari tingkat pendidikan yang baik pada tingkat pendidikan SMA sebesar 57,1%. ABSTRACT Irritant contact dermatitis is inflammation of the skin caused by contact with substances that are irritants, such as chemicals. In Indonesia, the incidence of irritant contact dermatitis in workers is quite high. Reported that there were 51 cases (41.17%) of irritant contact dermatitis in Semarang. The purpose of this study was to determine the distribution of knowledge in patients with irritant contact dermatitis Dermatology clinic dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh by gender, age, occupation and education. This research method is a survey with a descriptive cross sectional study. Data taken with the questionnaires to interview patients irritant contact dermatitis, the study sample is irritant contact dermatitis patients who went to the Dermatology clinic dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh, amounting to 32 patients. Results of this study showed that patients who seek treatment irritant contact dermatitis in the Dermatology Clinic General Hospital dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh have good knowledge of 53.1% and less knowledge of 46.9%. Based on knowledge of the frequency distribution of irritant contact dermatitis patients by sex, the best knowledge in women by 55%, based on age, good knowledge in the age group 20-40 years by 75% of the level of a good education at high school education level of 57.1 %.
