ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ekstrak lengkuas (Alpinia galanga Linn) terhadap daya tetas telur ikan bandeng (Chanos chanos). Penelitian ini dilakukan di Balai Budidaya Air Payau (BBAP) Ujung Batee, Kab. Aceh Besar pada bulan oktober hingga November 2015. Analisis statistik menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 7 taraf perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Sampel yang digunakan adalah telur ikan bandeng (Chanos chanos) yang telah terbuahi sebanyak 100 butir per wadah/ulangan. Perlakuan yang dilakukan meliputi perlakuan konsentrasi ekstrak lengkuas (Alpinia galanga Linn) yaitu ; 0 (kontrol); 100 ; 120; 140; 160; 180 dan 200 ppm. Hasil uji ANOVA menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak lengkuas berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap daya tetas telur ikan bandeng pada taraf uji 1%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada perlakuan A (0 ppm) telur ikan bandeng yang menetas hanya 61%. Bedasarkan uji lanjut BNJ di dapatkan bahwa perlakuan C (120 ppm) merupakan pelakuan dengan daya tetas tertinggi sebesar 88,30 %. Kata kunci : Telur ikan bandeng, penetasan telur, ekstrak lengkuas (Alpinia galanga Linn).   ABSTRAK The goal of this research is to find out the impact of galangal extract (Alpinia galanga Linn) on the hatchability of milkfish eggs (Chanos chanos). This research was conducted at Balai Budidaya Air Payau ( BBAP ) Ujung Batee, Kab. Aceh Besar in October to November 2015. The statistical analysis which was used in this study is completely randomized design (CRD) with 7 treatments and 3 times repetition. The samples used were milkfish egg (Chanos Chanos ) that have been fertilized as many as 100 eggs per container / reitarative. The treatment were the concentration treatment of galangal extract ( Alpinia galanga Linn ), that is ; 0 (control) ; 100 ; 120 ; 140 ; 160 ; 180 and 200 ppm. ANOVA test results indicated that galangal extract have significant effect on hatchability of milkfish eggs at 1% level of the test. The result of this study showed that in treatment A ( 0 ppm ), milkfish eggs only able to hatch 61 % . However, based on further testing BNJ showed that treatment C ( 120 ppm ) is the treatment with highest hatchability, 88.30 % .
