ABSTRAK Penelitian ini tentang distribusi lumut kerak (Lichenes) pada berbagai jenis pohon inang di kawasan Hutan Aneuk Laot, Pulau Weh Kota Sabang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan jenis, tipe morfologi talus lumut kerak dan distribusinya pada berbagai jenis pohon inang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei eksploratif dengan menggunakan kurva spesies area. Identifikasi lumut kerak menggunakan pengujian Spot test, uji mikrokristal dan sayatan apotesium. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di kawasan Hutan Aneuk Laot, pulau Weh Kota Sabang didapatkan tiga tipe morfologi talus lumut kerak yaitu crustose, foliose dan leprose. Lumut kerak yang berhasil diidentifikasi ada 10 jenis yaitu Cryptothecia striata, Coccocarpia erythroxyli, Platythecium dimorphodes, Graphis subtenella, Letrouitia domingensis, Megalospora tuberculosa, Heterodermia japonica, Phyllospora furfuracea, Sclerophyton elegan, Verrucaria mucosa dan empat jenis lumut kerak belum berhasil teridentifikasi. Jenis pohon inang yang banyak ditemukan lumut kerak adalah Lannea coromandelica (Houtt.) Merr. Kata kunci : Lumut kerak, pohon inang, identifikasi, distribusi ABSTRACT The research has about distribution of lichens on variety hosts in the forest area of Aneuk Laot, Sabang Island. The study aim was to obtained the type of lichens morfology and its distributions on variety host trees. This research method has exploratory survey using species area curve. The identification of lichens were done by using spot test, microcrystals test and anatomical type of apotesium. The result showed that in the forest area of Aneuk Laot, Sabang Island was found three types of lichens, crustose, foliose and leprose. The teen lichens successfully identified were Cryptothecia striata, Coccocarpia erythroxyli, Platythecium dimorphodes, Graphis subtenella, Letrouitia domingensis, Megalospora tuberculosa, Heterodermia japonica, Phyllospora furfuracea, Sclerophyton elegan, Verrucaria mucosa and there have been four lichens that has not identified so far.
