DAMPAK KENAIKAN HARGA BAHAN BAKAR MINYAK (BBM) TERHADAP PERMINTAAN TELUR AYAM RAS DI KOTA BANDA ACEH OLEH Sri Hastuti/Agribisnis Unsyiah ABSTRAK Telur ayam ras merupakan salah satu produk pangan hasil ternak yang mempunyai peran sangat penting dalam pemenuhan gizi masyarakat. Kenaikan harga BBM diikuti pula oleh kenaikan harga barang pokok makanan (sembako) terutama telur ayam ras. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mengetahui harga telur ayam ras, harga BBM, pendapatan, jumlah penduduk dan harga ikan berpengaruh terhadap permintaan telur ayam ras, dan (2) mengetahui jumlah permintaan telur ayam ras sebelum kenaikan harga BBM lebih banyak dibandingkan setelah kenaikan harga BBM. Metodelogi penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei dengan mengumpulkan jenis data sekunder. Model analisis yang digunakan adalah Regresi Linear Berganda. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan harga telur ayam ras, jumlah penduduk, pendapataan dan harga ikan berpengaruh nyata terhadap permintaan telur ayam ras, sedangkan harga BBM tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap permintaan telur ayam ras. Hal ini disebabkan karena telur ayam ras merupakan bahan makanan yang dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat untuk kebutuhan sehari-hari. Jumlah permintaan telur ayam ras sesudah kenaikan harga BBM lebih banyak dibandingkan sebelum kenaikan harga BBM. Hal ini disebabkan pertumbuhan jumlah permintaan setiap tahunnya terus meningkat diiringi dengan meningkatnya jumlah penduduk dan pendapatan. THE IMPACTS OF RISING FUEL PRICE ON EGGS DEMAND IN BANDA ACEH By Sri Hastuti/AgribisnisUnsyiah Abstract Eggs is one of the livestock products that have very important role in the community nutrition. The increasing of the fuel prices is followed by rising price of staple food items (groceries), especially eggs. The purpose of this research was to (1) determine the effect of eggs prices, fuel prices, income, population and the fish prices on eggs demand and (2) determine the number of eggs demand before the fuel price increases which is known more than after the price increase in Banda Aceh. The research methodology used in this study is a survey method by collecting secondary data types. The analysis model is the Multiple Linear Regression. Results of the discussion showed the price of eggs, population, income and fish prices significantly affect demand for eggs, whereas fuel prices did not significantly affect demand for chicken eggs. This is because eggs are food needed by the community for their daily needs. The number of requests eggs after the increase in fuel prices more than before the fuel price increases.
