ABSTRAK Depresi merupakan masalah psikologis yang paling sering ditemui oleh pasien gagal ginjal kronik yang sedang menjalani hemodialisa. Depresi pada pasien hemodialisa disebabkan oleh rasa tidak puas terhadap hidup, seperti masalah finansial, kesulitan dalam mempertahankan pekerjaan, dorongan seksual yang hilang, depresi dan ketakutan terhadap kematian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran gejala-gejala depresi pada pasien yang sedang menjalani terapi hemodialisa di instalasi dialisis Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Dr. Zainoel Abidin (RSUDZA) Banda Aceh. Desain Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif, pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode nonprobability sampling (Quota Sampling) sebanyak 62 pasien yang telah memenuhi kriteria inklusi, dan instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuisoner Beck Depression Inventory-II (BDI-II) untuk mengetahui gejala-gejala depresi yang dikeluhkan oleh pasien hemodialisa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan 10 gejala-gejala depresi terbanyak yang dikeluhkan oleh pasien hemodialisa dengan menggunakan kuisioner BDI-II yaitu gejala Kelelahan dengan 44 pasien (70.96%), kehilangan energi 40 pasien (64.5%), kehilangan libido 31 pasien (50%), gangguan tidur 29 pasien (46.77%), perasaan sedih 27 pasien (43.55%), kehilangan kesenangan 27 pasien (43.55%) kehilangan selera makan 26 pasien (41.9%), Agitasi 24 pasien (38.71%), perasaan pesimis 20 pasien (32.26%), Kesulitan berkonsentrasi 19 pasien (30.64%). Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah, ditemukannya gejala-gejala depresi pada pasien yang sedang menjalani terapi hemodialiasa di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh, kasus kesehatan seperti ini seharusnya mendapat perhatian oleh tenaga medis di instalasi dialisis, oleh sebab itu, perlu adanya penanganan yang comprehensive melalui kerja sama Bagian Penyakit Dalam RSUDZA dengan Departemen Psikiatri khususnya. ABSTRACT Depression is the most frequent psychological problems encountered by patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis. Depression in hemodialysis patients due to dissatisfaction with life, such as financial problems, difficulty in maintaining a job, lost sex drive, depression and fear of death. The purpose of this study was to investigate the description of the depression symptoms in patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy in dialysis installation General Hospital Dr. Zainoel Abidin (RSUDZA) Banda Aceh. The study design is descriptive, using nonprobability sampling method (Quota Sampling) of 62 patients who had met the inclusion criteria. The instruments used were questionnaires Beck Depression Inventory-II (BDI-II) to measure depressive symptoms complained of by hemodialysis patients. Based on the results of 10 studies found depressive symptoms most complained of by the hemodialysis patients using the BDI-II questionnaire that fatigue symptoms of 44 patients (70.96%), loss of energy in 40 patients (64.5%), loss of libido in 31 patients (50%), sleep disturbances 29 patients (46.77%), feelings of sadness 27 patients (43.55%), loss of pleasure 27 patients (43.55%), loss of appetite 26 patients (41.9%), agitation 24 patients (38.71%), feeling pessimistic 20 patients (32.26%), difficulty concentrating 19 patients (30.64%). Conclusions in this study is, the discovery of the symptoms of depression in patients who are undergoing therapy at hemodialiasa General Hospital Dr. Abidin Zainoel Banda Aceh, the health case like this should receive attention by medical personnel at the installation of dialysis, therefore, the need for a comprehensive treatment through cooperation with the Department of Internal Medicine Department of Psychiatry RSUDZA particular.
