AbstrakAbstrak
tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menerapkan analisis pola spasial gempa bumi di provinsi aceh dengan cara mendeteksi cluster dan mencari pola spasial secara global dan local selama periode tahun 1921-2014 dengan menggunakan sig (sistem informasi geografis). teknik-teknik yang dipilih antara lain average nearest neighbor, indeks global moran, getis-ord general g, indeks anselin lokal moran, getis-ord gi*, dan kernel density estimamation. masing-masing teknik dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan sig sehingga perhitungan dapat dilakukan dengan efisien dan cepat. hasil dari penelitian tersebut menunjukkan (1) teknik-teknik tersebut dapat mendeteksi titik-titik kluster pada pola spasial gempa bumi; (2) baik secara global dan lokal menunjukkan gempa bumi berkelompok di daerah barat daya menuju ke bagian utara provinsi aceh; (3) gempa bumi dengan magnitudo lebih besar umumnya terkonsentrasi di kabupaten simeulu, bagian barat kabupaten aceh besar dan barat laut sabang.
