this qualitative study was conducted with the aims to discover the process of reciprocal teaching in reading classroom, to find out students’ achievements after four comprehension strategies trainings of reciprocal teaching method given, and students’ perceptions of this method. the subjects were 24 students of twelve-grade. observation, test, document, and interview were done to collect the data needed. during the process of trainings, students were more active and productive in reading classroom. additionally, with the use of reciprocal teaching, students’ achievements of reading comprehension aspects have progress.
