the purpose of this study is to examine how circ technique improves students’ writing skill in content and organization which is focused on writing recount text. the method used in this research is tests by using true experimental design typed of pretest-posttest design. besides, quantitative approach is apllied. random sampling and random assignment are used to determine the control and the experimental group. in addition, there are pre-test, treatment or teaching and post-test in both of the groups. it was conducted at the second grade students of smpn 2 banda
