n. data yang diperoleh seperti pertambahan bobot badan dan konsumsi pakan selanjutnya akan diolah menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap, jika didapatkan hasil yang berbeda maka akan dilanjutkan dengan uji duncan. perlakuan r0 yaitu 10% rumput gajah, r1 20% konsentrat dan 80% rumput gajah, r2 yaitu 40% konsentrat 60% rumput gajah dan r3 yaitu 60% konsentrat 40% rumput gajah. parameter yang diamati adalah : konsumsi pakan, pertambahan bobot badan harian, penerimaan dan income over feed cost. berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian pakan dengan 40% konsentrat komersial (big geny), dan 60% hijauan rumput gajah lebih menguntungkan terhadap income over feed cost sapi aceh jantan. kata kunci: income over feed cost, sapi aceh jantan, konsentrat. abstract. this researh aimed at determining how much income farmers made by using the level of giving feed commercial concentrate (big geny) with an analysis of income over feed cost and daily body weight gain for acehnese bulls. the researh was located at research institute for animal husbandry and forage (bptu-hpt), indrapuri, aceh besar. it was conducted for 45 days starting from 1 october until 14 november 2018. the material used in this study was 16 acehnese bulls with ages ranging from 1.5 - 2.0 years and body weight ranging from 152 to 167 kg. the cows were obtained from research institute for animal husbandry and forage (bptu-hpt), indrapuri. the concentrate used was commercial concentrate (big geny) produced by pt. cargill, and it was also given elephant grass aged from 30 to 35 days before flowering as the forage. the grass was obtained from bptu-hpt indrapuri. this researh consisted of four treatments and four replications. the data obtained, such as body weight gain and subsequent feed consumption, would be processed by using a completely random design. if it showed different results, it would be continued by using duncan test. the treatment of r0 was 10% of elephant grass, r1 was 20% of concentrate and 80% of elephant grass, r2 was 40% of concentrate, 60% of elephant grass, r3 was 60% of concentrate and 40% of elephant grass. the parameters observed were feed consumption, daily body weight gain, revenue, and income over feed cost. based on the result of this researh, it could be concluded that feeding with 40% commercial concentrates (big geny) and 60% elephant grass forage was more beneficial for income over feed cost for acehnese bulls. keyword: income over feed cost, acehnese bulls,
