AbstrakThis survey was aimed at finding out students’ perception towards lecturers’ oral corrective feedback in speaking classes at the department of english language education of ar-raniry state islamic university (uin ar-raniry) banda aceh. the subjects of this survey were the fourth-semester students. questionnaire and interview were used to collect the data. this survey used the combination of quantitative and qualitative study. therefore, the participants of this study were selected using mixed methods sampling technique. firstly, five groups that contained 100 students were randomly selected based on the estimated survey sample to gather the data needed for the questionnaire. the collected data were analyzed through a quantitative procedure by using a statistical formula to find out the percentage of each statement. after the questionnaire was analyzed, five students listed on the first five row (high achievers) and five students listed on the last five row (low achievers) based on the
