l dengan menggunakan accidental sampling, sehingga sampel terdiri dari bayi usia 0 – 6 bulan yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis univariat dan bivariat dengan menggunakan uji statistik chi square. hasil analisis menunjukkan p-value sebesar 0,007 dengan ? sebesar 0,05. ini menunjukkan bahwa ? lebih besar dari p-value, sehingga hipotesis diterima dan kesimpulanya adalah terdapat hubungan antara kegemukan dengan pemberian asi eksklusif pada bayi usia 0-6 bulan dan terdapat hubungan kegemukan dengan asi non eksklusif pada bayi usia 0-6 bulan di puskesmas kopelma darusalam kota banda aceh. diharapkan kepada ibu yang memiliki bayi agar memberikan asi secara eksklusif sampai bayi berusia 6 bulan, untuk mengoptimalkan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan bayi. kata kunci : asi eksklusif, asi non eksklusif, kegemukan vi abstract breastfeed is the natural first food for infants. exclusive breastfeeding is given breast milk for infants aged 0-6 months without additional food. non-exclusive breastfeeding is given breats milk by the mother was not in full during the initial 6 months and interspersed with formula or complementary foods. breastfeeding has a role in reducing the risk factors of obesity and overweight. the purpose of this research was to determine the relationship of overweight to the consumption of non-exclusive breastfeeding and exclusive breastfeeding in infants aged 0-6 months at the health center of banda aceh darussalam kopelma. this type of research is observational analytic cross sectional. the population of this study were all infants aged 0-6 months at the health center of kopelma darussalam banda aceh. sampling technique using accidental sampling, the sample consisted of infants aged 0-6 months who included the inclusion criteria. the analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis using chi square statistical test. the analysis showed a p-value of 0.007 with ? of 0.05. this shows that ? is greater than the pvalue, so the hypothesis is accepted and the conclusion is that there is no a relationship between overweight with exclusive breastfeeding in infants aged 0-6 months and there is a relationship of overweight with non-exclusive breastfeeding in infants aged 0-6 months at the health center of kopelma darussalam banda aceh. expected to mothers who have a baby in order to breastfeed exclusively until baby is 6 months old, to optimize the growth and development of infants. keywords: exclusive breastfeeding, non-exclusive breastfeeding,
