Abstract the using of prepaid kwh meter at pt.pln (persero) rayon merduati as a technique for electricity theft prevention by juwita amanda 1504005010034 of prepaid meter using, as one of the result of prepaid electricity service by pt. pln (persero) rayon merduati, that is predicted to be a technique of electricity theft prevention. the role of prepaid meter, is a target hardening and rule setting in the prevention of electricity theft in several modus. result of the research shows the using of prepaid meter in normal situation could be a technique of situational electricity theft prevention as target hardening and rule setting. in general, this technique could prevent the electricity theft in several modus. key words: prepaid meter, pt pln (persero) rayon merduati prepaid electricity service, electricity theft prevention; target hardening and rule setting, electricity theft modus
