V abstract name : huswatul hasanah student no. : 1006102020016 study program : english education title : teacher’s strategy in teaching english subject in accelerated class at sman 3 banda aceh keywords: teacher’s strategy, accelerated class this study was carried out to analyze the teacher’s strategy in teaching english subject in the accelerated class at sman 3 banda aceh . descriptive qualitative approach was applied. the english teacher in the accelerated class at sman 3 banda aceh was the subjects of this study. while the object of this study was the teacher’s strategy in teaching english in the accelerated class at sman 3 banda aceh. the data were collected by using observation sheet and interview guide as research instruments. the result of obseravation sheet showed that the teacher used aperception at the beginning of the class to arouse students’ motivation in the teaching learning process. furthermore, the teacher
