n jumlah sampel sebanyak 76 pasien stroke. pengumpulan data dilakukan di poliklinik saraf rumah sakit umum daerah dr. zainoel abidin banda aceh pada tanggal 24 september 2013 sampai 7 oktober 2013. pengumpulan data dengan membagi kuesioner yang terdiri dari 14 item pernyataan dalam skala likert. metode analisis data dengan menggunakan uji statistik univariat, hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kecemasan pasien stroke berada pada kecemasan berat (48,7%). berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, diharapkan kepada pengambil kebijakan di poliklinik saraf rsudza banda aceh, agar dapat memberikan pelayanan yang baik sesuai dengan standar sop, yang dapat mengurangi kecemasan pasien stroke. kata kunci : stroke, kecemasan daftar bacaan : 26 buku + 3 skripsi + 8 jurnal (1995-2012) ministry of education and culture syiah kuala university nursing faculty thesis 21 october 2013 vi chapters + 44 pages + 3 tables + 1 scheme + 13 appendices dina afrina 0907101060034 anxiety in stroke patients in nerve polyclinic in the regency general hospital of dr. zainoel abidin banda aceh 2013 abstract stroke is a condition caused by an interruption of blood circulation in the brain that can lead to death of brain tissue resulting in a person suffering from paralysis or death, which can cause severe anxiety in patients. anxiety also alarming situation arises because patients who had a stroke which is a threat to life. in indonesia stroke is one of the leading causes of death and neurologic disability. this research aimed to find ot a anxiety levels of stroke patients in nerve polyclinic in the regency hospital of dr. zainoel abidin banda aceh 2013. the research type was a description exploratory. the research design was a cross sectional study. sampling technique using slovin formula wit a sample size of 76 stroke patients. data collecting was done in nerve policlinic in the regency hospital of dr. zainoel abidin banda aceh at 24 september untill 7 october 2013. data collecting was conducted by distributing the questionaire consisting of 14 question items in likert scale. data analysis method used an univariate statistic test; the reseach result showed that the anxiety levels of stroke patients was at severe anxiety (48,7%). from this research result, it is expected to the nurse to do more in increasing health education fo patients, in term of stroke explanation and doing a nursing intervension for reducing patients’ anxiety. key words: stroke, anxiety references: 26 books + 3 thesis + 8 jurnal
