title : the implementation of mind mapping in teaching reading
(an experimental study at the first year of mas al-manar aceh besar)

this study aimed to find out the implementation of mind mapping technique improving reading comprehension achievement for the first year students mas al-manar aceh besar. the data were analyzed by using the quantitative with experimental method to present the data on students’ answers (knowledge). the research population is the first year students of mas al-manar aceh besar. the samples of this study were students of class xb. the total of the sample was 25 students. the instrument used is test and questionnaire. the data of test were analyzed by using t-formula to find out the t-score. the research result proved that t-score is 2.02 and the critical value of t-table
